Val Founder
I was born and raised in London, but my family origin is partially St Lucian. I was a teacher until I decided it was time for a change. Fueled by an independent streak, I studied to become a Pilates instructor - seven years later, Pilates is not only my full-time job but its my life and love.
I created Back To Nature to share my love for Pilates, adventure and St Lucia with like-minded women, to reconnect with themselves.
St Lucia is a special place and I look forward to sharing all its wonders with you soon.
“The concept of Back To Nature is to use local St Lucians for services such as taxis which are all registered and licensed, local restaurants, and local boat tours.”

Yvonne Authentic, Homemade Island Cuisine
I met Yvonne that same year and we just connected, lovely lady. She works on Reduit Beach selling yummy homemade Roti, cake and local fruit juices. You can see her coming with her large rimmed straw hat and contagious laugh. She has become a friend and I look forward to catching up with her.
“Valdine thank you a million for enjoying. It was a pleasure serving you ladies, wonderful people. Look forward to see you soon. Give the ladies my love”
Quincy Our Boat Man
Quincy is our boat man, always making sure everyone is alright. Playing Bob Marley tunes as we sail around the St Lucia coastline. We have been on some lovely boat trips with him to Marigot bay, Sugar bay, Pidgeon Island and The Pitons. He also makes a mean rum punch....
Bernard Our Rainforest Tour Guide
Bernard is the man for a rainforest walk. Born and bred in St Lucia the forest is his garden. His knowledge and understanding of nature and wildlife is immense. His Rainforest walks and waterfalls are a great way to spend the day and get to know the wild side of St Lucia.
